  • EXPLORE IT. This section has 10-15 questions guiding you through the Psalm verse by verse.
  • UNDERSTAND IT. This section has 10-15 questions designed to challenge your thinking about the meaning of key elements of the Psalm.

Tips for Group Study

The Psalms in the Workplace study is designed for workplace small groups! Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your group study:

  • Select the specific Psalm lesson and provide participants with the lesson handout.
  • Encourage participants to read and study the Psalm, answering as many questions as possible ahead of your small group meeting.
  • Open your small group meeting in prayer, asking God to open your hearts and minds to what He has to teach you about integrating your faith in the workplace through this Psalm.
  • Based on the amount of time you have available, guide your group through answering as many questions in the study as possible. Be sure to save time to focus on a discussion of the APPLY IT questions!
  • Although many of the APPLY IT questions relate to life in general, try to keep the application discussion focused on how we can integrate our faith in the workplace.
