Participants in this study of Romans will learn about various themes and lessons presented in the different sections of the book, including the power of Jesus' authority, the importance of unity in diversity, the role of grace in salvation, the power of encouragement, and more. They will gain a deeper understanding of the message and teachings of the book of Romans, and will be challenged to put their faith into action by applying these lessons to their own lives and ministries.

Romans Pathway Study

In this Bible study lesson, participants will dive into Romans 1:1-17 and explore the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They will learn how the gospel is the power of God for salvation and how it reveals God's righteousness to us. Through examining these verses, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the gospel message and its impact on their lives. They will also reflect on how they can share the gospel's power with others and fulfill their calling as believers.

In this Bible study lesson, participants will explore the reality of sin and God's righteous judgment as presented in Romans 1:18–2:16. They will learn how all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and how the wrath of God is revealed against unrighteousness and ungodliness. Through examining these passages, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the seriousness of sin and the need for salvation. They will also reflect on how they can respond to God's righteous judgment and live in obedience to His will.

They will learn how the law exposes sin and how circumcision is a sign of the covenant, but neither can save us. They will also reflect on how they can live out their faith in their daily lives.

They will learn about the importance of accepting one another and not judging others based on differences in opinions and practices. They will also reflect on how they can promote unity in diversity in their own lives and communities.

They will also reflect on how they can use their gifts and talents to be a source of encouragement to those around them.

After retiring from a 36-year business career, I entered Talbot Seminary at BIOLA University where I completed my Masters in Biblical Studies and Theology.
